Ros Foster is the latest Partner to join Capsticks’ growing Regulatory team in London. Ros is an experienced solicitor specialising in regulatory, governance and information law matters and brings to the firm a wealth of knowledge, having worked across a number of the sectors the firm operates in.

Ros’ expertise focusses on regulatory and professional disciplinary work, having acted for numerous regulatory bodies, and the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. Ros acts in a wide range of public law matters including judicial review, legislative drafting and advice on powers, decision making and policy formulation. Ros has extensive experience of local government matters, having conducted numerous investigations into standards and conduct matters for a range of local authorities. She has assisted public and third sector clients in dealing with complex, sensitive and high-profile governance/disciplinary matters as well as specialising in information law, including data protection, Freedom of Information/Environmental Information Regulations and privilege/disclosure.

Ros’ extensive experience will further strengthen the offering Capsticks can provide its existing and future clients within and outside the regulatory sector, ensuring Capsticks are go-to advisors for regulators and public and third sector bodies. Ros is committed to providing high quality advice and support to clients that is responsive to their needs and helps them to meet their strategic and other objectives within a changing regulatory landscape.
