Capsticks reappointed to the Met Police National Legal Services Framework
30/06/25Capsticks are pleased to announce their reappointment to the National Legal Services Framework (NLSF) for a further four years, including their appointment to the new Misconduct and Regulatory lot. The NLSF, managed by the Metropolitan Police, provides access to a wide range of legal services for various public bodies, including police forces, Police and Crime Commissioners, and the Greater London Authority. Outsourcing legal services via the NLSF ensures participating firms have the necessary knowledge and capacity to operate efficiently and cost-effectively.
Capsticks have been reappointed to the following lots:
- Lot 4 Employment
- Lot 6 Property
Capsticks have also been appointed to:
- Lot 5 Misconduct and Regulatory
The firms’ appointment to lot 4 means they can support clients with all types of employment law, including policies, TUPE, tribunals and disciplinary matters. Lot 6 enables organisations to instruct Capsticks on a range of property work, including commercial and residential, as well as PFI projects. The brand-new Lot 5 means Capsticks is expected to advise, support and represent in gross misconduct hearings, Police Appeal Tribunal, and in all areas of work, predominantly police officer misconduct proceedings.
Alessandra Gettins, Head of Emergency Services Sector, commented:
Our reappointment reflects the quality of service we have been providing to organisations via the framework for the last 13 years, as well as the support we have provided to many of the framework’s clients for over a decade. We are delighted that this time we have also been appointed to the brand new lot, providing misconduct and regulatory advice.
Rachael Heenan, Senior Partner, commented:
