Experience

Rose is a Senior Associate in Capsticks’ Litigation team. She supports a range of public sector clients, including the Police and various NHS bodies, to manage and resolve commercial disputes.

Rose deals with some of the firm’s large commercial litigation matters, including procurement challenges, high-value contract disputes, and PFI disputes.

Expertise

Rose has dealt successfully with numerous commercial matters, including contractual disputes, settlement agreements, and tax and trust disputes. She also has considerable experience in dealing with complex, high-value multi-party and group litigation.

Rose is pragmatic in her approach to resolving disputes, and will consider carefully the options available to her clients, working with them to understand their aims and concerns. Should a matter need to be litigated, she has extensive experience in taking matters to trial and obtaining successful results for her clients.

  • Advising several NHS Trusts on the successful settlement of a high-value procurement challenge.
  • Acting for various Police Forces in a contractual dispute with a supplier.
  • Representing an Integrated Care Board in a litigated procurement challenge by an unsuccessful bidder.

  • Adams & Ors v FS Capital Limited & Ors [2023] EWHC 1649 (Ch)
    Rose acted for almost 700 Claimants, who were the beneficiaries of various trusts, in a successful claim against their former trustee for breach of trust.
  • Michael Ward & Ors v Katharine Anne Savill [2021] EWCA Civ 1378
    Rose acted for multiple Appellants in the trial of a preliminary issue.
