Experience

Jennie is an experienced HR practitioner specialising in Employee Relations and MHPS investigations. Jennie’s 16 years’ experience has mainly been gained from working for NHS organisations, the BBC and the financial sector.

Expertise

Her role as HR Consultant is to deliver on complex investigations including MHPS, Whistleblowing and B&H matters and to design and deliver training on best practice. Jennie also undertakes placements as a senior member of internal NHS HR staff and is very experienced with interpreting NHS terms and conditions and advising on contractual matters.

Notable projects

  • Jennie has recently completed a 12 month placement for an NHS Trust in the Midlands, managing their HR team and casework and producing daily workforce guidance and communications for staff and managers during the pandemic. 
  • Jennie led on a project to implement the recommendations from the ‘Flowers’ case to ensure NHS staff are paid during annual leave for regular overtime worked. 
  • Jennie supported an NHS Trust in the North by investigating a number of their complex cases and reducing case backlogs. 
  • Jennie managed the full Employee Relations service for an NHS Trust and supported the Medical Director with the full medical HR caseload at the organisation, significantly improving the processes in place and the speed of conclusion of cases.
