Ian is a Partner in the Regulatory team and specialises in regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings. He also advises clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters.
Expertise
After qualifying at an international firm, Ian joined the Solicitors Regulation Authority as an in-house legal adviser. Ian advised all areas of the SRA on a range of regulatory matters and had responsibility for some of its most high profile investigations and prosecutions.
Notable projects
Having conduct of some of the SRA’s largest and most high-profile and complex cases, before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and appellate courts.
