Capsticks is delighted to announce that they have promoted a total of nine lawyers into the partnership plus one lawyer to the role of Legal Director, as they celebrate their 40th year in business.
The new Partners represent five of the firm’s key practice areas across the Commercial, Employment, Litigation, Regulatory and Clinical Law teams. Eight of the group are based in the firm’s London office and Emily Senior joins the partner group in the firm’s growing Leeds office.
Daniel Kirk (Litigation), Mark Rogers (Regulatory), Anna Walsh (Clinical Law), Kate Steele (Regulatory), and Rebecca Richardson (Clinical Law) all trained with the firm.
Stephen Dove (Corporate and Commercial), Alessandra Gettins (Employment), Jane Barker (Litigation), and Emily Senior (Clinical Law) each joined the firm after qualifying in other firms.
Capsticks is proud to confirm that 70% of the new Partners represent the firm’s strong female cohort. The progression of women into leadership has been a key focus of the firm’s active Diversity and Inclusion programme and will continue to be so as the firm celebrates 40 years in business this year.
Each of the new partners has worked with a range of the firm’s biggest clients across its core health, housing and regulatory sectors as well as within some of its emerging sectors including emergency services, primary care and med tech.
The firm has also appointed one Legal Director, Emma Brecknock, who is based in the Leeds office. Emma is part of the firm’s Real Estate team and will support a range of the firm’s public and private sector clients.
Senior Partner, Rachael Heenan, commented, ‘All our new Partners and Legal Directors live up to Capsticks’ ethos of being One Step Ahead. We are delighted to have such a talented group joining the partnership following a rigorous selection process. It’s been wonderful to see them all develop over the past few years and I and the rest of the partners are delighted to see them moving into the next stage of their career with the firm.’
