As part of its strategy to support housing providers and communities across the North of England, Capsticks has secured an appointment to the Karbon Homes Legal Services Framework.

The framework is a collaboration between Karbon and four other northern housing providers – Gentoo Group, believe housing, Incommunities and Beyond Housing – that collectively manage over 150,000 homes across the North-East and Yorkshire.

The framework supports all five providers to access expertise across a broad range of legal services.

Commencing in October 2026 and running for an initial period of two years, with the option to extend for a further two years, under the framework Capsticks has been appointed to:

  • Lot 1 – General Property/Real Estate and Conveyancing (Commercial and Residential)
  • Lot 3 – Planning and Construction
  • Lot 5 – Housing Law and Residential Landlord and Tenant (non-Commercial)
  • Lot 6 – Governance, Regulation and Compliance

James Howard, Partner and Head of Housing & Regeneration at Capsticks, said:

We are delighted to have been appointed to this important framework supporting a group of leading housing providers across the North-East and Yorkshire.

This appointment reflects the breadth of our housing expertise and further strengthens our presence in the region. We look forward to working with framework members to support their strategic objectives and deliver positive outcomes for residents and communities.
