Experience
Raihan commenced his housing career as a housing officer, then manager, at one of the largest housing associations in London and the South East before qualifying as a solicitor in 2017. This gave him a strong understanding of the intricate difficulties faced by frontline officers as well as an appreciation of the broader challenges in the housing sector. Raihan has a strong focus in finding practical solutions on behalf of his clients.
Expertise
Raihan has in-depth knowledge of disrepair litigation, finding innovative ways to resolve pre-and-post issued claims in a swift and cost-effective manner. He also has a strong practice in housing management matters, representing small and large landlords alike in possession, succession and ASB matters as well as with pursuing injunctive action. He also regularly provides training on all aspects of disrepair and housing management issues
CSR activity
Raihan is a member of the Bromley Citizen’s Advice Bureau, providing free legal advice on a periodic basis to landlords and tenants.
