She is driven by the challenge of finding the right solution in difficult situations; for Neda, success is about providing clients with a clear, defensible path forward that protects both their assets and their communities.
Expertise
What sets Neda apart is her background in commercial property work. This provides her with an understanding of technical property law and asset management that goes beyond standard residential practice. She applies this “commercial edge” to housing management by offering a business-minded perspective on risk, focusing on protecting a client’s long-term asset value.
Neda manages a comprehensive caseload of contentious matters for Social and Private Registered Providers (PRPs). Her core expertise includes:
- Injunctions & ASB proceedings
- Committal applications
- Possession & Breach of Tenancy
- Disrepair and EPA Claims
- Equality Act & PSED Defences
CSR Activity
Outside of her professional practice, Neda applies her legal insight to proactive estate management and residential block governance. She serves as an active Resident Committee member for a substantial development in Central London.
In this capacity, she successfully applied to the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) for formal recognition of the Residents’ Association, facilitating a structured framework for communication between the residents and freeholder.
Publications
Neda has a proven track record in handling complex litigation involving intricate points of law. Notably, she acted for the Landlord in the injunction proceedings that formed the basis of the reported High Court case of Batt, R (On the Application Of) v The County Court at Central London [0] EWHC 3071 (Admin). Her involvement in the pursuit of the injunction demonstrates her ability to manage high-stakes litigation addressing fundamental issues of court jurisdiction. The matter remains a live point of reference in housing law.
