Experience
Lucy is an Associate in the Regulatory team, advising Social Work England on fitness to practise and professional discipline matters.
Before joining Capsticks, Lucy trained at a mid-sized commercial firm where she gained experience in high-value personal injury and medical negligence litigation. She developed further experience in advising corporate and commercial clients on governance and compliance matters, providing a well-rounded understanding of regulatory and organisational risk management.
Expertise
Lucy has expertise in professional regulation, healthcare law and advisory work. Her background includes managing complex claims and investigations, reviewing evidence and advising on the application of statutory and professional frameworks.
Lucy is adept in conducting detailed investigations which involve taking witness statements from vulnerable witnesses, co-ordinating the evidence gathering process and managing disclosure exercises. She is also skilled in case analysis, statutory interpretation and regulatory compliance.
