Experience
Emily is a solicitor in the Advisory and Inquest team at Capsticks. She joined Capsticks upon qualification in November 2023. She completed her training contract at a regional firm with a well-known Court of Protection department, specialising in health and welfare matters.
Expertise
Emily’s work involves dealing with Court of Protection and Mental Capacity cases, including S21A and S15/16 best interests applications, as well as general advice and assistance for NHS Trusts and ICBs, Inquests and other data protection and public law matters.
CSR activity
Emily is an active member of the firm’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.
