Abi specialises in property-related disputes and contentious landlord and tenant matters for the healthcare, local government and social housing sectors.

Abi's particular areas of expertise include:

  • Contentious commercial landlord and tenant issues including security of tenure under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, lease termination, dilapidations, consent applications, rent review and enforcement of obligations
  • Boundary disputes, adverse possession, and the Party Wall Act procedure

  • Claims concerning defects in new build properties, including claims against developers or under guarantees or insurance policies
