Clinical Risk Forum

Join us at our forthcoming clinical risk forum on Thursday, 28 January 2021. This will be a one-hour webinar especially for NHS trusts, focusing on the issues affecting our clients.

Ruth Day (associate in our clinical negligence team) will speak with Alistair Kernohan (employment partner) about the practical implications of supporting clinicians in conjunction with the Abdullah Inquest and Dido Harding’s letter.

Ellie Ward (senior solicitor from our advisory team) will present following the Maughan Inquest and the changes to the legal test for unlawful killing. Ian Cooper (partner) will provide an update on other advisory developments.

After the presentation, the session will be held in breakout rooms to cover regional issues on inquest updates and Coroner’s courts, hosted by Ruth Day (Leeds), legal director Charlotte Rathbone (Birmingham) and partner Rebecca Richardson (London), along with our advisory teams. There will be also an opportunity for attendees to discuss any pertinent issues they are currently facing locally with their colleagues and our legal experts.

This webinar is aimed to legal claims managers and governance and inquest handlers in NHS trusts.
