Capsticks has advised its client, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, on the appointment of a Strategic Energy Partner through a single-supplier Framework Agreement to support the modernisation of its estate.

Partners Lee Clarke and Mary Mundy led the teams that advised the Trust on the procurement of this groundbreaking project.

The appointment will use an Energy as a Service (EaaS) delivery model, with St Thomas’ Hospital identified as the initial site for delivery. The framework is intended to support the potential development of future modernisation projects across the Trust, subject to separate project approvals.

The Framework Agreement has been awarded to a consortium, with Meridiam TURF I SAS acting as the lead consortium member and Dalkia Energy Services Ltd as consortium member. Dalkia Energy Services Ltd will be responsible for the delivery of design, construction and asset operation and maintenance services under any call-off contracts awarded pursuant to the Framework Agreement.

In addition, the Framework Agreement may be accessed by NHS Trusts, NHS Foundation Trusts and Integrated Care Boards within the South East London Integrated Care System, as well as some other public sector bodies in the region.
