Zahra Evans

Experience
Zahra is a Senior Associate in the Regulatory Team. She is a highly experienced advocate.
Zahra has worked on a variety of fitness to practise proceedings relating to both healthcare, professional regulation and financial services and has regularly appeared before tribunals.
Prior to joining Capsticks, Zahra investigated Financial Regulation cases at the Financial Conduct Authority. She also worked as a Lawyer in the NMC’s case preparation and presentation team for a number of years.
Zahra also was a Senior Crown Prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service. Whilst at the CPS she prosecuted rape and sexual offences, domestic violence and fraud offences. Along with gaining significant experience assisting vulnerable victims and youth witnesses.
Expertise
Zahra has significant experience in advising on, preparing and presenting professional disciplinary cases. This has included cases involving high profile and client sensitive issues, such as abuse of vulnerable patients, sexual misconduct, fraud and complex cases.
