Experience
Sophie is a Principal Associate in the regulatory team at Capsticks. Prior to this, she specialised in defending claims of professional negligence against a variety of professionals.
Expertise
Sophie currently focuses on investigatory work for professional regulatory bodies, with particular focus on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and Social Work England. Her role involves overseeing fitness to practise investigations involving concerns surrounding conduct, competence or ill-health. Sophie also runs a caseload of interim and substantive order reviews, in cases where restrictive action is required to suspend, or impose restrictions on, a registrant’s practice.
