Sarah is an associate in the Clinical Law team. She works advising clients on high value and complex claims within the healthcare sector. She has substantial experience of working with the NHS and the insurance sector.
Sarah has particular interest in and experience of group litigation and product liability claims. She has substantial experience in GP claims, including failure to diagnose cauda equina, subarachnoid haemorrhage and meningitis.
Sarah has been involved in numerous projects aiming to consolidate learning and tactics on subjects such as hospital acquired infections, cauda equina claims and ischaemic foot claims.
She has been successful in securing strike out of a bankrupt litigant who had failed to seek approval for his personal injury claim from his Trustee in bankruptcy.
Sarah also has a strong interest in dealing with fraudulent claims, having successfully applied to strike out a claim for fraudulent exaggeration. She has significant experience in use of social media and surveillance to identify fraudulent and/or exaggerated claims.
Sarah has been described as “fearless” and “innovative” as a litigator.
