Experience

Nadirur is an Associate in the employment and pensions team, and advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

Prior to qualifying into the employment team, Nadirur completed his training contract at Capsticks undertaking seats in Real Estate, Employment, Clinical Advisory (seconded to support the Leeds Office) and Commercial, Construction and Property Litigation. Nadirur excelled in his training contract at Capsticks and developed a wider and in-depth understanding of healthcare law. In addition to this, Nadirur has exclusively represented clients in the healthcare sector since 2019.

Expertise

Nadirur has a passion for working in the healthcare sector. Nadirur has experience in managing Employment Tribunal claims, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, deduction of wages and breach of contract.
Nadirur advises a variety of clients and works closely with Housing Associations on wide-ranging contentious matters and Employment Tribunal claims. Nadirur has experience in the drafting of settlement agreements and COT3’s as well as contracts of employment and policies and procedures.
Having undertaken a seat in Commercial Litigation during his training contract at Capsticks, Nadirur can also offer advice on County Court claims.
Nadirur has particular expertise in advising NHS Trusts on their disciplinary and grievance processes.

CSR activity

Nadirur takes a lead in CSR projects with the Birmingham Office, and is involved in the following projects:

  • Ahead Partnership – this project helps business of all sizes and sectors to deliver social value projects that overcome inequality, promote opportunity and deliver positive change within society. Nadirur takes a lead in circulating Ahead Partnership opportunities to the Birmingham Office and wider offices in the UK.
  • University of Birmingham, Street Law Pro Bono Project – this project involves taking part in various separate initiatives which involves teaming up with groups of University of Birmingham students to assist them in delivering seminars on various legal topics, and reviewing draft scripts for students to create bite-size videos on various legal topics as part of their Commercial Law and Technology module course.
  • CSR committee – Nadirur is an active member of the CSR committee and takes a lead in providing updates to the Birmingham Office on current and forthcoming CSR opportunities.
  • Nadirur is a volunteer for Central England Law Centre providing initial pro bono legal advice on employment law issues to members of the public.
  • Nadirur is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider at Capsticks.
