Experience 

Laura joined Capsticks this year to specialise in employment healthcare law.. Laura conducts complex litigation for NHS Trusts and the Ambulance Service. Previously Laura worked in the Claimant union firms Slater and Gordon and Thompsons. Prior to that Laura was a Government lawyer dealing with both employment tribunals as a Respondent lawyer and judicial review cases in the Public law team.

Expertise 

Laura advises on capability and conduct advisory matters, and manages high profile and complex Employment Tribunal cases (all types of discrimination, dismissal, whistleblowing and contract claims). Laura has worked on several long running discrimination claims, including for the London Fire Brigade, as well as acting for the Lord Chancellor in the Supreme Court ET fees case UNISON v Lord Chancellor [2017] Laura has also developed expertise in dealing with a full range of trade union contentious and non contentious advice.
