Experience
Jennifer is a Senior Associate in the Regulatory Team undertaking professional disciplinary investigations for Social Work England. Jennifer is experienced in investigating and preparing cases for hearing for health and social care regulatory bodies.
Jennifer has also represented registered individuals during regulatory proceedings, including defending cases against the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the Health & Care Professions Council and the General Optical Council. Jennifer is experienced in providing advocacy for both registrant and regulator at interim and substantive hearings.
Having acted for both regulators and registered individuals, Jennifer also worked in a senior management role in the NHS providing advice to the Medical Director on the management of concerns about doctors and dentists, which involved making referrals to the regulator.

Jennifer joined Capsticks in 2025 having spent the previous 3 years in a senior management role in the NHS providing advice on the management of concerns about doctors and dentists. Prior to this, Jennifer provided representation to doctors and dentists in regulatory matters and employment investigations on behalf of medico-defence organisations.
Prior to this, Jennifer presented cases at both interim and substantive hearings on behalf of Social Care Wales, dealing with a wide range of concerns, including dishonesty, criminal convictions and competency.
