Experience
Giovanna is a solicitor in our Security Charging team, part of the Housing & Regeneration division. She has over ten years’ experience working with registered providers and charities.
Giovanna specialises in the property aspects of charging portfolios, including conducting title and property search due diligence, drafting certificates of title and managing conditions precedent and post-completion formalities.
She also has broad experience across the social housing sector, particularly in asset management and void disposals.
Expertise
Before qualifying into security charging matters in her current role, Giovanna was an Asset Management Team Leader. In that position, she managed a substantial caseload, including staircasing, resales, sales under the Preserved Right to Buy and Right to Acquire schemes, buybacks and lease extensions.
Giovanna is also highly skilled in handling property transactions for charities. She has acted on sales and purchases for organisations such as The Methodist Church and The Church of England Pensions Board, helping clients navigate the complexities involved.
