Experience

Eileen has a broad range of experience advising consultants, developers and public-sector clients in relation to non-contentious construction matters.  As a Principal Associate, she brings extensive expertise in professional indemnity insurance; framework agreements; standard and bespoke professional appointments and associated documents (e.g., collateral warranties, deeds of novation, letters of reliance, sub-consultancy agreements, compliance statements); NEC, JCT and other standard form building contracts; and bespoke building contracts.

Expertise

Eileen’s expertise includes:

• drafting, reviewing and negotiating framework agreements, professional appointments, building contracts and associated documents;
• assisting client with identifying and managing risk throughout the project life cycle;
• assisting clients with identifying and addressing potential gaps between contractual provisions and professional indemnity insurance cover;
• managing construction documentation.
