Experience

Caroline joined Capsticks in 2025 as a Principal Associate and Advocate, having been previously employed by Blake Morgan and Kingsley Napley Solicitors, specialising in Professional Discipline. Prior to working in Professional Discipline Caroline worked in Criminal Defence as a Solicitor and Advocate for over 10 years.

Expertise

Caroline is a Principal Associate and Advocate within the Regulatory division, specialising in fitness to practise investigations on behalf of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA).

She has experience of preparing cases on conduct, competence and health investigations. She has experience presenting complex and multifaceted final hearings, case management and interim orders. She has dealt with many cases involving dishonesty, discrimination, sexually misconduct, breach of professional boundaries, inappropriate social media posts and predatory behaviour. She has experience of holding a Case Management role alongside her advocacy role and therefore has experience in progressing cases through the regulatory process from initial investigation to final presentation on behalf of a variety of regulatory bodies.
