Experience
Bhurhan is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate department at Capsticks based in our Birmingham office.
Bhurhan acts for a number of NHS providers and commissioning organisations located in the Midlands and the City advising on commercial leases, Lease Plus Agreements, disposals of surplus NHS land (including conditional contracts and overage) and general landlord and tenant law. Bhurhan continues to advise the Department of Health on various property matters.
Bhurhan’s focus area includes supporting NHS England in the facilitation of capital grant funding to registered social landlords and local authorities for the provision of services to individuals with learning disabilities. The grant funding forms part of NHS England’s Transforming Care Programme.
Expertise
Bhurhan has experience acting for a broad range of clients from various sectors and therefore has a good understanding of legal and commercial issues affecting both landlords and tenants. Bhurhan regularly assists his clients with managing their properties from both a practical and legal perspective. Bhurhan’s approach is always to ensure his clients are always One Step Ahead.
