Capsticks is pleased to announce that it has been appointed to the Orbis Legal Services Framework, securing six lots on a £40 million contract. This appointment commenced on 21 November 2025 for four years.

The firm will be providing expert legal advisory services, having been appointed to lots:

  • 1 Legal Services for Adult Social Care
  • 4 Legal Services for Commercial Law, Contracts & Procurement, Telecoms & IT Law, Construction Law
  • 5a FOI GDPR Information Law
  • 6a Highways, Planning and Environment
  • 6b Property and Housing
  • 7a Employment

Orbis is a public sector partnership between Surrey County Council, East Sussex County Council, Brighton & Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council. Established in 2015, Orbis are now one of the UK's biggest public sector providers of procurement services, supporting some of the largest communities across the south of England.

This appointment builds on the firm's recent framework win for the London Boroughs' Legal Alliance (LBLA) Legal Services Framework and aligns with their strategy to be on all key legal services frameworks for the sector. Ensuring Local Authorities can easily procure high quality legal services, whilst benefitting from value for money and time efficiencies.
