Capsticks, the leading national health and housing law firm, has been appointed to the CCS Public Sector Services Panel.  The firm can now accept a wide variety of work through Lot 1, including the provision of legal advice around healthcare, social housing, property and construction and employment. The new panel runs for three years from October 2018 to October 2021. Capsticks had previously been on the CCS RM919 Legal Services Panel

The new framework offers ‘the provision of services in all relevant legal specialisms to Customers in the whole of the UK Public Sector, more directly the Wider Public Sector including Health; Education; Local and Regional Government; Emergency Services; and Third Sector and Social Housing organisations.’

Capsticks has recently reinforced its wider public sector offering with the appointment of Diana Barrett as Principle Solicitor to lead the firm’s Local Authority team. Diana has extensive housing experience and recently managed the Tri-borough (Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea London Borough Councils) legal services team.

Senior Partner Rachael Heenan said, ‘We are delighted to have been reappointed to the CCS Public Sector Services Panel. Our public sector clients and all public sector organisations are facing continual financial challenges. CCS has ensured that the task of sourcing expert, value for money advice to help them achieve their business objectives has been made considerably more straightforward’.
