Experience
Sabina is a Senior Associate in the Housing and Regeneration team with a wealth of experience in the social housing sector working for social housing providers on a wide range of home ownership and development matters.
Prior to joining Capsticks, Sabina was an associate solicitor in the Housing and Regeneration (Property) team at a North West based firm which was ranked Tier 1 for “social housing” in Legal 500.
Expertise
Sabina has a variety of experience dealing with various matters which include:
- Property sales including void sales, re-sales and sales via the RTB, RTA and other statutory schemes
- Property and site acquisitions
- Conditional agreements including those specific to the housing sector such as ‘golden brick’ and ‘turn-key’
- Development agreements
- Overage agreements
- Conditional agreements
- Consideration of s106 Agreements and variation requirements to enable onward sale and charging
- Infrastructure agreements

- Site set-up for shared ownership and outright sale including sites with mixed tenures and property types

Sabina has also provided training to clients on more practical considerations of the development process and onward sale with a view to making the process more efficient.
