Experience
Ryan is a Partner specialising in public sector, healthcare and procurement disputes. He acts predominantly for NHS bodies, central government departments, integrated care boards and other public sector organisations, as well as private sector organisations operating in regulated and publicly funded sectors. His practice encompasses procurement challenges, commercial and contractual disputes, judicial review proceedings and disputes arising from major infrastructure, healthcare, outsourcing and public service projects.
Expertise
Ryan advises clients throughout the lifecycle of commercial relationships, from procurement and contract negotiation through to dispute avoidance, risk management and formal dispute resolution. He regularly supports clients on contract governance, supplier performance issues, contract exits and strategic service transformation projects. He has extensive experience of resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, while also representing clients in high-profile litigation and appellate proceedings.
