Experience

Natalie is a Senior Associate in the clinical negligence team within the Birmingham office, which she joined in April 2020.

She is instructed by NHS Resolution to advise on the defence of clinical negligence claims brought against NHS Trusts.

Natalie has worked within the clinical negligence area since January 2015 and has extensive experience in a wide variety of claims. Natalie first worked as a paralegal within the clinical negligence area before qualifying as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Natalie thereafter dual qualified as a Solicitor whilst working within the area. She has therefore specialised in the area of clinical negligence since January 2015.

Expertise

Natalie has undertaken two client secondments at NHS Trusts where she was responsible for managing clinical negligence claims and inquests. She worked closely with clinicians and the Patient Safety team. Natalie has also been on secondment at the NHS Resolution on two separate occasions.

Natalie works on a variety of pre-action and litigated cases ranging from lower value orthopaedic claims to Fatal Accidents act, delayed diagnosis of cancer and high value birth injury claims.
