Kate Cornelius is a Partner in the Clinical Claims department in London, specialising in complex and high-value clinical negligence litigation.
Before joining Capsticks in 2016, Kate spent five years at a leading claimant law firm representing patients and their families in clinical negligence claims. She now acts on behalf of NHS Resolution defending clinical negligence and personal injury claims brought against NHS organisations nationwide. Kate leads a team handling high-value, complex and sensitive claims involving the most serious and life-changing injuries across all medical specialties. Her practice has a particular focus on catastrophic brain and spinal injuries, wrongful birth claims and cases falling within NHS Resolution’s flagship Early Notification Scheme.
