Experience
Josie is a Senior Associate in the Regulatory team.
She joined the firm in March 2026, having spent several years as a public and regulatory lawyer. Josie’s experience includes defending judicial review challenges and statutory appeals, representing clients in relation to inquests and public inquiries, and advising public bodies and regulators on their powers and duties as well as on issue such as equality and discrimination, complaints and freedom of information (FOIA). Josie also has prior experience of advising the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in connection with fitness to practise cases.
Before training and qualifying as a solicitor, Josie worked as a news journalist for local and national newspapers and news agencies.
