Experience
Alexandra has experience in both transactional construction and construction disputes. She has worked on projects for a range of clients across sectors including local government, NHS Trusts and education. Alexandra has assisted on high value development work, city centre master planning and redevelopment, warm homes contracts and is currently working on the New Hospital Programme. She has also advised on disputes across sectors covering various issues including the Building Safety Act 2022, termination and high-value defects claims.
Expertise
Alexandra has good knowledge of building and engineering contracts including NEC, JCT and other standard form and bespoke contracts including RIBA, ACE and CIC. She also has a good understanding of construction project ancillary documents such as security (bonds, parent company guarantees and vesting certificates), appointments and collateral warranties/TPA.The Building Safety Act 2022 has featured heavily both from a drafting perspective and defending claims.
