Following a record number of promotions earlier in the year we can now announce a range of further promotions across our legal and business service teams, coinciding with the half-way point of our business year. We’re celebrating the promotion of two Partners, 16 Senior Associates, four promotions across our business service teams, and also the promotion of ten newly qualified solicitors and seven new trainees here at Capsticks.

Senior Partner, Rachael Heenan, commented:

We are so lucky to have many talented and skilled people working at Capsticks. It is important we take this moment to congratulate and celebrate all their career achievements and thank them for all their hard work with clients making us the firm of choice for organisations who work to make a difference.
Partner promotions

From 1 November 2023 Emma Kurzner, currently a Legal Director, and Marsha Thompson, currently a Principal Associate, will be promoted to Partner.

She is also a key contributor to our Equity Diversity and Inclusion strategy both internally and in our inclusion work with our clients. New trainees

And congratulations also to our seven new trainees, who started their training contracts at the beginning of September after a lot of hard work and dedication.

All our new trainees are internal candidates who have already played a key role in the work we do for our clients and will help us to take the firm forward.

Managing Partner, Martin Hamilton, said:

Securing a training contract is such an important milestone in a lawyer’s career. At Capsticks our Motivated Teams strategy is all about creating the right environment to allow everyone to thrive and succeed. Our talented group of new trainees all began their work with us as paralegals and I’m delighted that they are continuing to progress their careers with us.

The best way to secure a training contract with Capsticks is to join as a paralegal. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to work in a truly varied role with lots of responsibility early on - this experience is excellent preparation for progressing to become a trainee solicitor.
