Capsticks has been appointed to the Wiltshire Council’s legal services framework. This builds on the firm’s efforts to further increase Capsticks’ presence in acting for local government clients, following Tiffany Cloynes joining Capsticks as Head of Local Government in the summer of 2023. The appointment commenced on 2 January 2024 and will run for a period of four years.

The firm has been appointed to the following lots:

  • Lot 1: Planning
  • Lot 2: Property
  • Lot 3: Employment
  • Lot 4: Commercial
  • Lot 5: Civil and Commercial Litigation
  • Lot 8: General Local Government Matters.

Wiltshire Council is the unitary authority that governs the county of Wiltshire, not including Swindon. It delivers more than 350 services to the people of Wiltshire, from public health and social care to planning and street maintenance, schools and libraries.
