Amy joined Capsticks in September 2014 as a newly qualified solicitor.
Before joining Capsticks, Amy trained at one of the UK’s largest Claimant firms, undertaking work in medical negligence, catastrophic injury and employers’ liability.
Amy specialises in defending clinical negligence claims against the NHS, General Practitioners and consultants in private practice. She works primarily on claims for the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland. Her caseload is varied, both in terms of medical specialism and value, and a large number of Amy’s cases involve multiple Defendants.
