Healthcare - looking to the future: Contract management and procurement

Capsticks has been providing legal support to healthcare clients on how to adapt in many different ways during the COVID-19 pandemic, from collaboration between the NHS and private sectors to how to assure the safety of PPE and risk assessments for NHS staff.

As we move to a different phase of the pandemic, we want to share with you the lessons learned from that support—and help equip you for the next set of challenges—in our Healthcare: looking to the future webinar series.

Following each of the sessions, we will pull together a briefing note to cover the points raised, and our tips for dealing them, which will be available to all those who attend any of the sessions.

In this session we cover the implications for the use of emergency procurement provisions, procuring and contracting during and post pandemic, to ensure effective contracting for your organisation. We will also summarise model responsible contracting behaviours and how to achieve robust contract management by re-negotiating or terminating contracts effectively and compliantly, and dealing with provider and/or market failure.
