Journey to the Centre of the Earth and Back

Capsticks staff are walking the 7926 miles to the centre of the Earth and back to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital’s Heart Appeal. The Hospital has an internationally renowned heart unit but it needs £2m to upgrade it in order to fulfil growing national demand. Teams have just 8 weeks to complete the task and are using pedometers to measure the distance they are covering every day. The aim of the project is not only to raise money, but encourage an active lifestyle, especially in the young; each team will have one or two children walking with them.
