David deals with a wide variety of contested steps on behalf of regulatory bodies including the Healthcare Commission and the Commission for Social Care Inspection, and on behalf of provider organisations. Work includes responses to regulatory enforcement procedures, including prosecution, taken by the Health and Safety Executive following fatal incidents, and breach of best practice in infection control, as well as advice on individual liability for corporate offences.

His practice also covers all aspects of contentious property work including contested lease renewals, rent reviews and possession actions, property disputes relating to boundaries, rights to light and rights of way, the enforceability of restricted covenants, occupiers’ liability and the removal of unwanted visitors by injunction.
