Commissioning

We work for many commissioning clients, focusing on helping them to meet the challenges set by the Health and Social Care Act.

Our commissioning, governance, procurement and staffing specialists are currently working with clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), PCT clusters and SHAs to ensure the successful transition of commissioning functions.

We have a dedicated governance team and our governance training events are amongst the most popular in our busy events programme.  We have considerable experience of working with NHS leadership teams. Together with the Good Governance Institute we ran the NHS London Board Development pilot producing ‘a how to’ guide for board development.  Capsticks are the only law firm to be appointed to the NHS London framework for the CCG training and development programme, where we will be advising on governance issues.

GP handbook
