Annabel qualified into the litigation department of a large American law firm in 2007 before moving to Capsticks in 2008. Since then, she has built up a broad practice working on cases for the NHS and professional regulatory bodies.
Annabel works as part of the regulatory team and has wide experience of acting for professional regulatory bodies, including the General Dental Council and Nursing & Midwifery Council. She has investigated and prepared several complex cases, which span misconduct, deficient professional performance and health.
Annabel also has extensive experience of advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious issues for NHS bodies including NHS England, including performance management issues, contractual disputes, a range of public law issues and judicial reviews. Annabel has prepared proceedings in a variety of forums, including the First Tier Tribunal, the Family Health Services Appeal Unit and the High Court. Annabel has also handled high value and complex commercial litigation disputes for various NHS bodies.
