Bridget has 16 years’ extensive experience in investigatory and HR/legal matters in the NHS, private sector and not-for profit sector across a wide range of complex and sensitive matters. In addition, Bridget provides advice to emergency services clients.
Bridget is also a qualified non-practising employment solicitor, having worked for three national practices in matters such as:
- Complex whistleblowing and discrimination issues in Tribunal;
- Advice on all aspects of TUPE,
- Restructuring and redundancy advice arising from organisational re-configurations;
- Advising on doctor disciplinary and performance issues.
She has also worked on secondment for 9 months with an NHS Trust assisting the HR team and providing advice and support in relation to a transfer and subsequent reorganisation of approximately 4500 staff.
Bridget regularly provided workshops and seminars, in addition to in-house training, for personnel and managers.
She is a trained Workplace Mediator and appreciates the need for investigations to be conducted fairly, objectively and sensitivity.
Bridget has also worked alongside the client’s internal investigators assisting with direction and write-up of the investigatory report.
