Emily is a lawyer in our Clinical Law team in Leeds, acting for a variety of NHS Trusts. Emily has experience assisting with high value complex medical negligence claims including cerebral palsy and neurological injuries as well as managing a wide range of orthopaedic, gynaecological, psychiatric and surgical cases. Emily has a particular interest in paediatric cases and improving patient safety.
Prior to joining Capsticks, Emily spent four years at a leading claimant firm gaining experience in clinical negligence, professional negligence and serious injuries. Previous memberships include the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA). Emily’s broad range of experience assists with strategic decision making and assessing risk.
