Chris has 15 years of experience in the social housing sector in a number of roles for a housing provider, and as a national lead for anti social behaviour. His extensive experience includes working with the Home Office to help shape the ‘ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014’; working as a senior consultant at the Institute of Housing; and most recently with the CIH advising on ways to improve ASB services and creating positive outcomes for communities and landlords.
The new advisory services will provide consultancy, a unique range of training packages and seminars to help landlords and housing providers improve management of anti-social behaviour.
- Working closely with the Home Office to develop the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014
- Leading on the CIH ‘Working Together’ Project, a national project to help landlords deliver excellent ASB services
- Developed and rolled out the ‘Community Harm Statement’ a tool now commonly used to help present evidence in court
- Given oral evidence at the House of Commons Select Committee and worked closely with the House of Lords to develop the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014
Chris has written various publications and articles for trade press such as Inside Housing and The Guardian as well as the Chartered Institute of Housing.
