Ron joined Capsticks as a Partner in the employment department in February 2014. He qualified in 1991, initially practising as a commercial litigator, before moving into specialising in employment law, advising public sector bodies, insurance companies, charities and corporate clients.
He has over 10 years experience of advising NHS bodies on a diverse range of topics including recruitment, terms and conditions (and organisational change), disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies, and complex discrimination and whistleblowing matters. He has considerable experience of advising on matters relating to doctors under the Maintaining High Professional Standards processes. He has a particular expertise in TUPE and the related public sector guidances and was a lead lawyer for a number of Trusts in the “Transforming Community Services” process in the NHS.
